UMPIRES EXPENSES

UMPIRES EXPENSES  for the 2024 season   will be £50 as for the last two seasons, providing that teas are supplied by the home team.     HOME TEAMS :    If teas are not provided the expenses rate will be £60  ( £50 plus an extra £5 for each umpire).

NOTE :    Even if teas are not provided the home tea must have hot and cold drinks available at the interval.

UMPIRES STANDING ALONE :      If an umpire stands on his own the expenses rate will be the same, each club paying half..   If a club wishes to pay the umpire extra, that of course will be fine.

UMPIRES STANDING ALONE :    This will be avoided wherever possible and umpires will not be spread around in Div 2 to cover more matches.   In case of late call offs some umpires will stand on their own but this won't be a regular feature.

IMPORTANT NOTE :   Due to many problems in 2022 regarding the payment of umpires the following format  will

IF A DELAY TO THE START IS CAUSED BY NON COMPLIANCE, THE OVERS CAN BE REDUCED AS PER

LEAGUE RULES FOR A DELAYED START OR TIME REDUCED FROM THE NORMAL ALLOWANCE IF THE FIELDING TEAM ARE AT FAULT.
